Hi, I’m Bailey

Growing up in the foothills of North Carolina, Bailey has always had a love for the mountains and the natural beauty around her. She was creative from a young age and found her love for photography during her time living in Boone, North Carolina.

She quickly fell in love with wedding photography because it so perfectly married her love for people and creating art through a documentary style of photography. She has been mentored and worked under some of the top wedding professionals in Western North Carolina. Bailey is always striving to improve in her craft.

She is driven by the love that she has for her growing family and the belief that it’s important to document life, whether that be the big celebrations or just the mundane everyday moments. Looking back on old photographs is an incredible way to freeze your memories in time and be able to share those stories for decades to come.

Working with Bailey

Bailey is a natural born listener which lends itself well to be a photographer who has a keen eye for the candid moments that happen in the in between. While your wedding day has lots of monumental moments, it's the little tiny smiles shared across the aisle, the quietly shed tear down your grandmother’s cheek, and glances across the dinner table at your best friends that really make up your wedding day.

Time and time again couples always comment on the calming presence that Bailey brings to their wedding day. She is quiet but confident in her ability to photograph moments as they unfold. A wedding day should be a day that is enjoyed to its fullest and being a part of making your day run smoothly is a goal of Bailey and her team.

I take a more quiet, “fly on the wall” approach… I love to let the day unfold and capture all the little moments that make up YOUR day, not just a wedding day. With that said, I will give direction when needed and make sure we are utilizing the light of the day well and keeping little details in mind like posture, fly away hairs, etc. During portrait time with you as a couple I love using movement to shake off any nerves you feel in front of the camera. In my opinion, prompting over posing evokes a more genuine connection for me to document.
